Well the last Spring Fling Crit race was last weekend (4-11-09). Long story short, is I ended up in 2nd place overall for the series. Not too bad for a triathlete in his first season of bike racing. Randy Booth finished 3rd and Dave Corwin finished in the top 10. Not a bad showing for Bike Stop first race series. I think a lot of us are planning on doing the Velotek Grand Prix next weekend. It is a stage race which means that you have a Time Trial, Crit and Road Race. The individual with the lowest time overall wins. Should be fun!
Training is going well, right on target for where I want to be. First Triathlon race is in 2 weeks in Columbia, MO. It is just a sprint, but should be a good test. . . I am actually looking forward to it.
